Training for High Functioning Organizations

Overview

What organization would not value the presence of higher performing employees, improved department functioning and decreased time and resources spent on dealing with employee performance issues? While these are values that many departments seek, it is not uncommon for many to struggle obtaining them; but this doesn't mean that they are impossible to achieve.

Ergometrics has created employee training programs designed to address common employee dysfunctions and negative mindsets. These programs touch upon information that is not commonly included in department training and that is hard for many employees to learn on their own.

Disruptive employee patterns can be damaging to a department and extremely challenging for supervisors.

The content of our training programs is derived from information obtained during exam development. Throughout each test's development we obtain detailed information on common dysfunctions that individuals face while on the job. This information is then used to create both exam questions and the foundation of our training programs, which then creates a link between what candidates are tested on and what they are later trained on. This link between our entry-level exams and the training programs is beneficial for departments in two ways:
  • When employees participate in the training course, they are being taught proper performance and behaviors that have been identified during exam development by panels of subject matter experts all across the country as critical behaviors.
  • The dimensional scores obtained during entry-level testing can be used to guide the instruction of the employee training once the candidates are hired.
Employee training is a critical part of any department's success. It ensures that each employee possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities essential for outstanding job performance. Our training programs create a learning environment that helps employees better understand the information that has been presented and then later apply this information while on the job. All of our trainings can be conducted by either internal trainers or Ergometrics' experienced training staff. Below is a brief description of each of our training programs.
